Masanobu Nakiri Knife

The nakiri is a Japanese vegetable knife designed for straight push-cutting, and its flat edge makes it efficient for chopping and slicing vegetables.

This knife is double-beveled and made of hagane (high-carbon steel). It is a very well-made, hand-crafted nakiri with a blackened rust-prevention finish. The blade is thick near the heel and becomes slimmer toward the tip.

It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.

It features engravings “登録” (Registered) and “正信謹作” (Masanobu-made).

A hand-made carbon-steel nakiri like this can feel exceptionally solid and precise—excellent for vegetable prep when you want clean, confident push cuts.
