Korechika Tako-Hiki Knife

This is a Tako-Hiki knife from Korechika. The Tako-Hiki is a Kanto-style sashimi knife with a straight blade, traditionally used for slicing sashimi and octopus. This knife shows only light storage-related patina and very little actual use. The handle still retains its original seal, suggesting it has seen minimal work in the kitchen.

The knife has a single-bevel Hagane (carbon steel) blade that provides a very sharp edge, ideal for clean sashimi slices.

It has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features engravings "是近作" (Korechika-Made) and "特級" (Special Grade).

This Tako-Hiki is an excellent option for preparing sashimi or octopus dishes at home, and it is also suitable for sushi chefs seeking a straight-edged sashimi knife for sushi restaurant use.
