Yanagiba Knife (Deadstock, Unsharpened)

The Yanagiba is a Japanese sashimi knife designed for slicing fish into thin, beautiful cuts. This piece is single-beveled, forged from high-carbon steel, and remains in deadstock condition without a sharpened edge. Based on similar stock that bore "安来鋼白二" (Shirogami #2), this blade is likely made of the same white steel. Perfect for DIY enthusiasts wishing to craft their own sashimi knife.

A rare opportunity to finish and personalize your own Yanagiba with traditional white steel.

Blade Length: 215mm

SHARPENED by a Japanese Sharpener. Razor sharp. The sharpener is in Kyoto, the traditional city in Japan as you know. You can use without maintenance. You don't need to pay maintenance costs after receiving. If any, please feel free to ask, English available.
