Misono Gyuto Knife 215mm

This is a Gyuto knife by Misono. Gyuto knives are classic Western-style chef’s knives suitable for meat, fish, and vegetables alike. This is a Misono Salmon series knife with dimples on the blade and shows very little sign of use. It has an approximately 8:2 semi-single-bevel-style edge, designed to help ingredients release cleanly and allow smooth cutting performance.

The knife is double-bevel stainless steel (molybdenum steel), offering good rust resistance and easy care.

The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please take care when opening the package. The listed price already includes the sharpening service.

It bears “MISONO,” “HANDMADE,” and “ステンレスモリブデン鋼” (stainless molybdenum steel) markings and logos. This Gyuto is a versatile main knife for everyday cooking, from chopping vegetables to slicing meat and fish, with the added benefit of a dimpled blade to reduce sticking.

The semi-single-bevel grind gives it a slightly more directional, precise feel than a typical Western chef’s knife, which many users find improves control.
