Azuma Minamoto Masakane Gyuto Knife

The Gyuto is a versatile Japanese chef’s knife, favored in professional kitchens for meat, fish, and vegetables. This piece features a rare kiritsuke-style tip and was finished as a single-beveled blade, in line with its original sharpening. “Naganuma-sei” indicates it was made at the Naganuma Works in Asakusa, Tokyo.

The single-beveled high-carbon steel blade provides exceptional sharpness. It has been professionally sharpened and is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features engravings "東源正兼" (Azuma Minamoto Masakane) and "長沼製" (Naganuma-sei).

A rare kiritsuke-tipped gyuto with a story, ideal for those who appreciate unique craftsmanship.
