Edokoma Japanese Santoku Knife
The Santoku is a Japanese multipurpose knife used for meat, fish, and vegetables. This traditional-style piece features a Japanese handle with a unique thumb groove on the right side, possibly shaped intentionally for comfort. The spine shows some hammer marks, which are reflected in the price.
It is double-beveled and made using a laminated (warikomi) construction, offering good balance between sharpness and ease of use.
It has been professionally sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.
It features the engravings "登録" (Registered), "江戸駒作" (Edokoma), and "本鍛造" (Forged).
A charming and well-crafted piece for home chefs who appreciate traditional design and comfort.
