Masamoto Yanagiba Knife

The Yanagiba knife is the most common type of knife used for slicing sashimi. With a blade length of approximately 26 cm (just under 9 sun), this knife is well-suited for various sashimi preparation tasks.

The water buffalo handle is beautiful, and the steel blade provides exceptional sharpness. While the surface of the blade was likely semi-mirrored originally, it is no longer a full mirror finish, but it still has a clean and polished surface.

The knife appears to have been carefully maintained and still has plenty of life left.

The knife has been sharpened, so it cuts well and is ready to use. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

This knife features the engraving "登録" (Registered) and "正本" (Masamoto).
