Masamoto Deba Knife
The Deba knife is a single-edged traditional Japanese knife, perfect for filleting fish. This knife is crafted from carbon steel, providing exceptional sharpness.
It has been expertly sharpened and is ready to use right out of the box. Please handle it with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
The handle features the engraving "秀吉" (Hideyoshi), indicating that this knife was crafted by Hirano Hideyoshi, the second son of Hirano Sakichi, the third generation Masamoto. Although there are wormholes due to age in the water buffalo horn handle, it is believed that the strength remains intact. The price has been adjusted accordingly, making it a good deal for those who don't mind this detail.
This knife features the engravings "正本" (Masamoto) and "秀" (Shu), with "秀吉" (Hideyoshi) engraved on the butt of the handle.
