Sakai Kikuhisa Nakiri Knife

The Nakiri knife is primarily used for cutting vegetables. This is a double-edged, traditional Japanese knife.

Made of hagane (carbon steel), the knife offers excellent sharpness.

There is some general discoloration due to age, but as shown in the photos, the cutting edge still reveals a clean, silver steel surface, with no deep rust that affects the blade's functionality.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engraving "堺菊久" (Sakai Kikuhisa). Both the engraving and the branding on the handle are slightly worn.
