Sakai Juoh Santoku Knife
The Santoku knife is a versatile, all-purpose kitchen knife, ideal for cutting meat, fish, and vegetables. This is a double-edged blade.
It features a hon-warikomi (3-layered) construction, making it sharp and easy to maintain. The stainless-clad finish also makes it easy to care for.
The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
There are marks on the blade, possibly from an attempt to sharpen it using a rotating grinding stone. The marks do not affect performance, and further sharpening will eventually smooth them out.
The price reflects these minor imperfections, so it’s a great value for those who don’t mind them.
It features the engravings "堺寿翁作" (Sakai Juoh), "Stainless Clad," and "菊虎別打" (Kikutora Betsuuchi).
Length: 290mm
Blade Length: 165mm
Blade Width: 43mm
Blade Thickness: 2-3mm
Weight: 147g
